It was a cold rainy evening in Westbourne Grove. Me and my friends had rumbling tummies and needed to find food fast, so we ran into this pretty, brown coloured restaurant. It had lovely, comfy leather couches that we immediately got acquainted with and a wood burning fire, the artificial type, that warmed us up quickly. The wine was good and so was the food, which had really nice salads and meaty pies. However, I was cautious, since the pub food averaged at £8. My favourite was the duck fried potato chips, which was delicious with ketchup to dip. Portions of those were £5, but it wasn't enough so I had to order more. That evening was quiet, but the service was good. We had a friendly Eastern European waitress attending us and making sure we were happy. There was also a reserved party going on upstairs and the people coming downstairs to use the bathroom looked like they were on their way to never never land with just the right amount of alcohol to make sure they'd take off. This place probably gets busier during the weekends since there are only a few places near Westbourne Grove station. Finally, the décor looked quite expensive, so in terms of interior, five stars all the way.
