Beautiful farm! Staff are friendly, and there's options to feed most of the animals. A lovely atmosphere for kids!

      Adorable little city Farm!
Has everythingbyou could expect from a city Farm, friendly staff, a small but varied mix of animals a gorgeous cafe & gift shop and there's always something going on!
There's a stables offering horse riding lessons, an owl who does flight experiences and little ones can even experience what it's like to beta farmer for the day. I've been going since I was little and it really is a gem.of Merton!

this place is adorable! there's sheep, horses, bunnies, birds, pigs (except they were missing when i was there and none of the staff knew where they were, which was slightly disturbing) cows, chickens, roosters, and other cute little animals you can look at and make loving kissy faces at.

there's a little cafe in the farm area, but it was a bit scary, so i'd recommend walking back to merton abbey mills where there's lots more places to eat instead of trying the food here. there's also a little gift shop, and they have an area for lost and found clothes, which is really great cause some kid left their jacket behind and i took it and it's the coolest jacket ever and it's mine now! gift shop has some cute farm themed goodies, but nothing you really need..

anyways - check this place out! the animals are adorable and it's free to get in so you won't waste any money

      baby lambs!

This urban farm is great. It holds a dear place in my heart. I remember before it moved to Bunce's Meadows, as part of Morden Hall Park. Morden Hall Park is separatly reviewed here and is a National Trust Parkland.

Back in the day.anyway fast forward to today and this is a quaint bit of the countryside in the city. Ideal for adults to take children of all ages to see ducks, horses, geese, pigs, sheep and more.

The location is a little bit hidden away next to the Phipps Bridge, but is walkable from Phipps Bridge or Morden Road tramstops. Colliers Wood tube is nearby and this is good for a family day out when combined with Merton Abbey Mills.

These guys also have a riding school and educational programs, but it is the look on very small children's faces when they see and say 'Ram' or 'orse'

Dean City Farm is a great place to go for a day out with the whole family or even if you just want to go get in touch with mother nature without leaving London. It costs you nothing to enter the grounds but they will appreciate any donation. The centre works entirely on the help of volunteers and donations, hence the above comment. A lot of kids take riding lessons at Dean City Farm. Dean City Farm has got quite a lot different animals and it is a geat way of petting and learning about new animals without owning animals.

Great place to go when it's nice weather! Large selection of animals to see and really nice atmosphere. Best thing is, it's free!

Not the kind of place where you can spend a whole day (or even a whole morning) but a fun diversion for little ones and it's free. The usual animal supsects are here, pigs, sheep, cows, goats and horses as well a good collection of chickens and peacocks. There is also a petting area for rabbits, some ferrets and a lovely garden area. Pony rides are sometimes available and for older children they run workshops in the school holidays so kids can get hands-on with the animals. There is a fairly basic cafe and a small shop selling farm-related toys and eggs produced by the farm. There is a car park or you can combine a visit with a tram ride and walk to or from Morden Hall Park.

A small city farm which is great for small children. It's free and a great resource. They have the usual sheep, pigs, cows, goats and fowl. Horse riding lessons are available. There are interesting sustainable gardens, vegetable and fruit plots. There's also a cafe and small shop. I've enjoyed my visits here, but sometimes in good weather you can get LOTS of children running around like loons all through the gardens. Combine your visit with Morden Hall Park nearby.

My boys love Deen City Farm. Its a little farm but have all the basic animals that children enjoying seeing. Their restaurante is a bit disappointing, they could do so much better there, but the farm is lovely and its FREE!

Good day out for children of all ages. It's also where they film Mr Blooms Nursery for Cbeebies which adds a bit of magic to the trip.
