Eis-Café Calchera

Visited twice in 2019 and now back again in 2021.
I am very happy to say that everything is just as I remembered.
Nice clean location serving some fresh and delicious Eis with over 30 flavors.

The price is reasonable since you are getting such a great quality. You can eat inside or out and if the weather is colder then you can request a fur for your seat or a blanket. I recommend Eis and Coffee on a cool day and sitting outside to people watch.

Schöne, saubere Location, die frisches und leckeres Eis mit über 30 Geschmacksrichtungen serviert.

Der Preis ist angemessen, da man so eine tolle Qualität bekommt. Sie können drinnen oder draußen essen und wenn das Wetter kälter ist, können Sie einen Pelz für Ihren Sitzplatz oder eine Decke anfordern. Ich empfehle Eis und Kaffee an einem kühlen Tag und draußen zu sitzen, um die Leute zu beobachten.

There are many Italian ice cream (Eis) store fronts along Simeonstrasse, but this seems like a nice one. They offer about 38 flavors--some milk based icecream, some fruit juice-based ices like sorbet, and some yogurt-based flavors--either in cones or cups. Each scoop is .80 euro, which is pretty reasonable. I liked the whiskey and hazelnut. My favorites are maracuja and malaga. Not sure what a stratacelli is. They also offer plenty of sundae combinations. The Germans smoke, drink daily, and eat fattening foods like pork dishes and ice creams, yet they outlive us and stay trim. Something doesn't seem fair about that. Meanwhile, eat some icecream and enjoy your life a little.

I had a surprisingly good italian coffee (Americano / Lungo) here. Add to that a great spaghetti-ice for a fun & filling experience :-)
