Same office as Kolodenker, the top reviewed podiatrist in Irvine. But still I got the best advices from Heaslet and really listened to the background and nature of the problem. He had a female assistant so I got two opinions. I came in limping and walking very slow and walked out fine with a boot. They are also open to cash patients and will help you in getting a plan which was nice but I resisted and paid in full.

I've been to several other foot doctors for chronic foot pain due most likely to a large cyst. Nothing bad to say about the other doctors except they all seemed either rushed or gave up on a solution. Dr Heaslet is rare among any type of doctor in that he truly seems interested in taking the time to get to the root of the problem and find a solution. I would highly recommend him to anyone with foot issues.

Dr. Heaslet is officially my new Podiatrist!. My previous Podiatrist, Michael J. Marcus, DPM turned out to be a scammer who tries to sell you on devices you don't need and gives out your personal information to the company so they can contact you about making a purchase. Never again!
Dr. Heaslet was such a pleasure. I went in to see him for the first time on 6/16/15 and couldn't have left happier. I went in to see him regarding a painful and purple toe nail. He took the time to explain to me exactly what the causes are (trauma or injury) and what happened to make it purple and will happen to my toenail after some time. He really takes the time to get to know you and explain things in detail and gives you an opportunity to ask whatever questions you may have. You will never feel rushed or like you don't exactly know what is going on. Basically he said it could be surgically removed but that would be even more painful even though it would eventually shorten recovery time. He opted to let it fall off on its own and let the new nail come in naturally and go from there. I scheduled another follow up appointment in 3 months so he could see the progress of the nail since he said it should fall off within 2 to 3 months. Dr. Heaslet, you have gained a new loyal patient in me, and anyone else I know who might ask me for a podiatry referral :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christa T.Austin, Estados Unidos4329 mar 2014
I came to CA for a vacation and ended up breaking a bone in my foot :( I called OC Podiatry on a Friday morning and their staff was wonderful. Knowing I was from out of town and with x-rays in hand confirming the break, they squeezed me in right away- something I REALLY appreciated. Dr. Heaslet was the perfect doctor- he explained everything to me, shared all the options, described the pros and cons depending on the treatment path taken, etc. and answered all my questions. I'm also very holistic, and he was thoughtful and supportive with ideas of how I could help support my bone healing with arnica, etc. in addition to a cast/boot.
I would highly recommend Dr. Heaslet and if I lived locally- I'd be referring all my friends to him if they needed a podiatrist!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valerie M.Westchester / LAX, Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos20142121 ene 2016
So friendly and tries very hard to explain things and make you feel comfortable. I was very impressed. The office/front desk staff seemed a little confused by some things so I might give the overall practice 4 stars. But the doctor definitely deserves 5. Didn't have to wait long to get in.

Dr. Heaslet is an amazing doctor who listens to you and very thorough in making sure all your questions are answered. Their office staff is also very friendly and make you feel like family when you step into their office. I highly recommend this doctor and Foot & Ankle Associates in Irvine.

I have seen Dr. Heaslet three times now. Two times I was able to be seen on the day that I called when they squeezed me in at the end of a busy day to accommodate my busy work schedule, and the other was on a Friday when Dr. Heaslet was not scheduled to be in the office.
Each time there I was greeted right away by a very friendly and professional staff. They have gotten me back to see the Doctor very quickly even though you can tell they are quite busy with a packed waiting room. Dr. Heaslet is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, and also takes the time to get to know you.
Being relatively new to the area, I picked this office pretty randomly for my podiatry needs and couldn't be happier with the decision. I highly and strongly recommend Dr. Heaslet and his staff!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin D.Irvine, Estados Unidos0117119 jun 2015
Horrible business with a Great doctor. BEWARE!!!!!!!
I went to this Dr. for over six months and paid my copays every time I completed a visit. All of a sudden, the day before thanksgiving, they hit me with a $500 tab!!!!! They finally 'got around' to balancing their books and expected me to just pay whatever they made up after six months. Needless to say, I will NEVER go to this doctor again.
Unfortunately, the doctor is good, it is how they run the office that makes this a place to avoid. As for the doc, he takes enough time to really find the issue and genuinely cares about his patients. You may wait a bit for the appointment, but it's worth it to see him. I had been seeing dr h now for issues with my foot for about six months and he continues to impress me. It's hard to find a dr that seems to genuinely care for his patients like this doc does. It's too bad they are unethical and a poor business. The doc should look into how poorly this office is run since he lost me as a long time patient.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
