L'Air de Famille

I live in Paris and had the opportunity for a long weekend in Bordeaux. Bordeaux truly is a culinary city in ways that Paris isn't.

I highly recommend this little family owned and run restaurant. It is a simple place with very little in terms of design flair, but the staff was very welcoming, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and abundant! We had three courses from the main menu and a very, very nice St. Emilion. Each dish was well made, with that right balance of home cooked french food and fine dining. This casual place is perfect if you want to taste all the reasons this city by the river is one not to miss in your travels in France.
