More like 3.5 stars. It's a bit hit and miss with chain massage studios. I had a massage with Igor and if you like deep tissue he's good for it. The first massage is $39. After that the cost increases. There are options to keep the cost down by purchasing a series of massages through membership. We all know regular massage is a healthy thing to do for ourselves (once a week is what is typically suggested, but more if possible- Yay!). They offer gift certificates, nice location, clean rooms, tidy appearance of therapists and calming environment (water fountains, relaxing music). For the money it's a good deal.

The massage was fine however I was charged $75 for an hour massage per what the website says. I paid with a gift card and put the tip on my credit card. I wanted to tip 20% however when I looked at my receipt I was charged 20% on $125.00. When I called to ask about it I was told I was charged $75 for the hour massage but required to tip on the "non member" rate which was $125. I will not be going back.

Where do I start I decided to get this back in March get a membership with them so I could relax a little bit more and focus more on my mental health. To which I did have a hard shit happen with the current economy and everything I called and spoke with somebody and they told me to email corporate about canceling my membership I did cancel my membership and they still charged me for my membership I asked for a refund and they stated that your membership was never canceled and that we are not responsible for giving you a refund. And on top of all that they decided to blacklist me so I could not go back into the massage envy and take advantage of the money that I paid into. $195 wasted. When I called yesterday to speak with somebody about the situation I was very calm I was very polite and the woman Diane who was working the front office desk decided to be very rude and condescending to me which I did not like causing it me to be upset but I was not still aggressive towards her at all I was just not understanding why she couldn't assist me. Then I tried to call back and she directly hung up on me I thought I was calling a call center so I called until I just got tired of it and they decided to blacklist me and lie and say that my mom and my sister who went up to just get her name so I can report her to corporate that they filed a police report. She said that this woman was scared for her life this is Brittany the multi unit manager mind she told me that the police had to escort them off the premises which was also false because my sister told me that she literally had a very nice conversation with a woman named Sharon and Sharon said that if I needed anything that I could call and ask for her directly. To which my sister ended up leaving because she felt like her voice was heard. And they decided to blacklist me so they can keep my money because I can no longer go into a massage envy to use my credits. Brittany and Diane need to be fired they're are both very condescending arrogant people and when I asked Britney for the owners name she gave me the false name of Tom and when I decided to do my own research and Google his name it came up Torsten so I'm sure she gave me the wrong number as well. Do not recommend I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also reaching out to the attorneys for the current lawsuit for not canceling memberships on time. Please please please please do not waste your time and your money going to this place.

Had a great massage with Deanne! She was very professional and considerate of my needs. Facility was clean and comfortable. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming.
And yes, they do try to sell you on their memberships, but I did not feel pressured in any way!

This is hit and miss on the actual masseuse. Soon as I like one they end up leaving . Appts are spotty. Billing has been incorrect many times .. the one at Matthews festival is run much better ...

Honestly the worst massage I have ever gotten. Overpriced, and massage therapist was absolutely horrible! She was barely touching me and I asked for a deeper massage and apparently she didn't know how to do that. Don't waste your time or your money going to this Massage Envy. The girl at the front desk was totally rude, I would never go back to this place, ever.

I went in for a massage tonight. It was a surprise from my boyfriend. It was an awful experience from start to finish. The Russian lady that checked me in was rushing me despite the fact that I was early. When I made it to the massage room, there were no rooms or robes; the therapist, Simone just says get undressed, get in the blanket and I'll be back; awkward. I almost left then but since my boyfriend had paid already; I felt obligated to stay.
The massage it's self was awful. I stressed to focus on my shoulders and neck and that seemed to be what she stayed furthest from . UPDATE--Can never get a masseuse -lots of turnover and lots of great people have departed. We have since switched to the Ballantine location because of the poor service and are very happy we did!
Been going regularly for over two years. Only had a bad masseuse once-cut down her competition and told me I had dry skin. Yeah that was a relaxing time!
Anyway, I have had several different therapists and love Mari, Donna, Hope, Keri and Nicole-all are great.
The place is always clean and the reception desk staff are always helpful. The have a full line of Murad products available and are very knowledgable as they also do facials here.

Getting ready to go in for my session with Colleen. I would recommend her to anybody! This office in particular is very clean and quiet. The bathrooms are very private and have great amenities.

Worst massage I ever got. I just got lined with lotion for an hour. Even ended up getting some in my eyes. Their response was that it may take a few times to get it right. So I have to spend 200-300 for a good massage? I don't think so. Should be able to get a good massage every time you walk in. Customer service is very poor.
