Very surprising.


We popped in here on the way to visit someone in Liverpool. This is without doubt the cleanest and most efficient McDonalds I have ever been in to. It was spotless.


As I went to queue up a member of staff saw me waiting and immediately opened another till so i didn't have to wait and she greeted me very politely and with a SMILE. That makes such a difference! One item wasn't ready and she asked as to sit and she'd bring it which she did within about a minute of us sitting down.


As we ate I watched staff clean tables as soon as they were vacated as well as picking up any rubbish they saw. The toilets were also very clean and I couldn't see any mess or litter anywhere in the restaurant.


The final touch came when I asked a member of staff for directions to where we were going and she gave pinpoint instructions as to how to get there, and again all done in a friendly manner and with a smile.


I don't think I ever expected to award a McDonalds a five star review but this was exceptional.
