Was staying at the hotel right next-door and was recommended this restaurant we're looking for somewhere nearby that had good food. We had a big group of about seven people who are all excited to get delicious Thai food. Upon walking in the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restaurant was it's truly made to be photographed. I was nervous cause sometimes restaurants that look pretty something to be desired when it comes to food, but luckily that was not at all the case with our experience. We did a bunch of different things serve family style, so we could try a wide variety of different dishes on the menu. Here's everything we got in order of what I liked best:
Dungeness Crab rangoon - made with real crab! So good. Heartier and more fresh tasting than I've ever had before.
CHIENG-MAI LETTUCE WRAP aka chicken larb salad. Bright and tasty!
PANANG CURRY BEEF - I wanna take a bath in this sauce.
SPICY EGGPLANT - surprisingly delicious!!
LALITA'S FRIED CHICKEN & PAPAYA SALAD - some people said the chicken lacked seasoning but I thought it was super crispy and flavorful and the entire dish went really well together as a whole.
DRUNKEN NOODLES good but nothing super memorable.
SMOKED DUCK - duck just isn't my thing personally!
I also got the PURPLE PATTAYA cocktail made with gin and butterfly pea flower and it was so yummy and pretty!
The food came out super fast and our server was so impressive and kind.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 23 abr 20241 check-in
First of all, stunning decor. The place sits in the midst of a bunch of other restaurants, but it's got the appeal that makes it stand out. My group and I were seated near the window, and this was the first restaurant where I was served warm water, but not for tea. Some folks didn't prefer it and were given ice upon request.
Many food items were ordered, and I nibbled on a couple. I liked the drunken noodles, even though they were the sweetest I had to date. I also really enjoyed the eggplant and tofu. The main star for me was the cocktail... the purple pattaya was aesthetically stunning and tasted great!
I would return for a proper meal if I'm in the area.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - 3 abr 2024
3.5 stars! It's pretty good, presentation is stellar and honestly a pretty solid place to get lunch with someone around downtown SF during lunch hours. Is it the best Thai food? No. But it's decent and service + ambiance is great, especially if you're meeting someone for work during weekday lunch hours.
Drunken noodles - 4, not bad, wished there was a bit more "wok hay" and spicier
Spicy eggplant - 3.5, flavor is on point
Our party enjoyed their food and liked the ambiance and decor.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 14 mar 2024Reseña actualizada
I don't get out to the FiDi district often anymore. It's nice to see some long-time staples are still around. Osha Thai is one of them. I met up with some former colleagues for drinks before dinner here. The restaurant itself looks just as I remembered, a well-lighted large dining room with many Thai accented decor. After our first round of drinks and some apps were placed, a colleague suggested we just stay for dinner as well. The restaurant wasn't too busy so our food and drinks came out pretty fast. Nothing was phenomenal and I've had better Thai food for cheaper at other restaurants. The thing about Osha is it is a good place to get together for large groups and they have a vast drink menu. Parking is easy in the parking garages at Embarcadero. Evening parking price with validation for up to four hours after 5 p.m. is $2.

I generally come here for lunch, but recently tried it for dinner and loved their Thai Smile cocktail - Jack Daniels, Amaretto, sweet/sour, orange and a cinnamon stick. It was pure heaven, a must try the next time you dine here or just in for cocktails. Can't even remember how many I ended up having at $10 a pop but worth every cent!
Food during dinner was just as good with the exception of the fish which was slightly overcooked and dry.
Tip - happy hour is only available in the lounge area. The bar inside the restaurant does not offer happy hour. - 29 feb 20242 check-ins
Really good quality Thai food, but expect the prices to be more expensive than usual. This location is very aesthetic and beautiful inside. Great ambiance and friendly customer service. Has a more high-end feel to it - being located next to The Ferry Building.
My favorite dish here is the Pork Belly Noodles! This is a specialty item on their brunch menu. Imagine Pad Thai, but elevated with bok choy, crispy pork, and a runny egg. Soooo delicious! Flavored perfectly. Highly recommended.
The Pad See Eaw is also pretty good here. Not too salty or oily. Just right. I like that they give a lot of noodles and don't skimp on the ingredients. I do wish it was slightly sweeter though.
Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive. They are generous with the alochol ratio. Pretty strong! But the drinks are still very enjoyable and pretty. Very fun for a meal out with friends.Helpful 22Thanks 1Love this 14Oh no 0 - 5 feb 2024
This is a nice Thai place in the Embarcadero. Sunday lunch was pretty empty so we enjoyed an empty restaurant, which was nicely decorated for Chinese new years.
We ordered a couple of appetizers including the veg egg rolls and the crab Rangoon. Apps came out hot and nicely fried. I got the pumpkin curry with tofu for my main dish. The curry was tasty but could've used some more rice to accompany it.
Overall food was good. A bit pricey but that's SF prices for you. Service was great!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 7 mar 2024
My colleagues and i were looking for apps and drinks around 6pm on a Wed evening after coming from an event at the ferry building. We walked across the street from Osha, which was busier than expected, but they had a table for our party of 3...which soon turned into a party of 5 when a few more joined (the more the merrier).
I was freezing after an event outside so decided to warm up with some tom yum soup. The chilled spring rolls were also calling my name, but they were unfortunately out of them and I didn't want anythign fried. It turned out that the soup was plenty of filling (I only ended up eating half) and quite spicy! The tequila soda drink I enjoyed with it did help a bit with the spice!
The rest of my table enjoyed soup and drinks as well. The virgin mojitos looks especially good so I may need to get one next time, although I'd prefer mine with alcohol.
I'm headed back to SF a bunch in the near future and for one trip will be staying at the Hyatt Regency across the street so have a feeling I may make it back to Osha!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 358525327 ene 2024
What a great spot for happy hour! Right across from the ferry building, once I stepped inside I could tell I was in for a treat. The decorative lateens and flowers were absolutely stunning. The restaurant makes great use of the space and I couldn't help but gush over how amazing it looked.
The happy hour dels were wonderful, and the food was delicious. We got the deal that featured multiple dishes and a couple of drinks.
Our server was attentive and sweet. She was able to take sure we were seated and served quickly.
We can't wait to go back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Desiree T.Oakland, Estados Unidos9945324 mar 2024
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in San Francisco. With 2 locations, you can't go wrong with either venue.
Reservations recommended. The ambiance is lovely, service is friendly and food is served promptly. Really love the drinks as well. The espresso martini is a nice addition after a late lunch! It can get crowded and slightly noisy during rush hour.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
