Pretty laid back and especially good in the summer. Daily lunch options are OK and for a good price. The normal menu is a bit too expensive for what you get though. Service is friendly.

We came to this place for some rest from the bustling market at Arkonplatz. Decor is nice and good location.

we waited at our table inside to be served. After about 20 minutes I got up and went to the bar - I assumed it was self service since nobody had even acknowledged our arrival. I told this to the barrista when she quite abruptly told me the place has table service, who then went on to inform me that "people usually order food here". She served us our drinks and swore in German (not sure if it was directed at me or not)

When we wanted to pay it took 10 minutes to get someone's attention (there were about five tables and 3 people working) - I had to ask numerous times.

Coffee was nice but we left highly disappointed and confused by the service - highly indifferent and it seemed like there was chaos in the peaceful location. I would advise any of the number of other cafes with friendly nice people to go to in the area.

The service is friendly and enthusiastic, menu is all in Deutsch but they offered great explanations in English! Good beer, fun atmosphere, lots of great unique menu options.

Die neue Deko ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dafür sind Bedienung und essen weiterhin hervorragend!

Fuer 15 Euro einen Riesensalat mit grillten Huehnerbruststueckchen das klingt zwar nach viel Geld, der Salat viel aber wirklich gross aus.
Das Huhn war in Ordnung (gottseidank nicht zu trocken), die Tomate leider alt und laetschert. Das Blattsalat-Dressing schien mir auf Parmesan zu basieren, da war dann der darueber gehobelte Parmesan leider zuviel des Guten.
War insgesamt lecker, haette aber etwas fantasievoller und besser abgestimmt sein koennen; fuer den Preis erwarte ich etwas mehr.

The staff are very friendly and the beer is good. Its traditional interior and style make the place feel uncomplicated. It's also non-smoking and doesn't play music, which is ideal for quite conversations. The only negative is the lack of seating. So get there early.
