Filet steak was delicious! Salad and potatoes that came with it were also good. Service takes a bit but lots of people watching makes it worth it. Busy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the menu was very German-like.

The attendant was the meanest waitress I have ever seen. We were at the restaurant today (26dec, around 1pm). She was so rude all the time she spoke to us. Didn't serve the salad that accompanied the dish and after we finished our meals, I reminded her, and she aswered so irritated that "it's coming". It didn't came at the end. But we were fully charged by the meal. So rude. You must think tourists are disposable to you, but it's us that make your check at the end and your sallary. You didn't have to treat me and my family in such a rude way as we were respectful, just because we're not french neither speak your language.

Rather disappointing as the service is completely overwhelmed! Took the waiter three attempts to try and remember our order of four with a nearly empty house! Later when more guests arrived took him 20 min to get a couple of bottles of water to the table.... A grilled foie gras arrived luke warm at the table twice! Two side orders and a bottle of water ordered during the evening were forgotten completely.... Creme Brûlée was on the menu but not available .... And being asked what was wrong the waitress upon hearing a note of complaint turned round to say "get lost" non verbally.....

Supposedly good cook who's efforts will never reach the table....!

A traditional looking restaurant with nice serving staff. Generous portions of classic Alsatian food. The salmon tarte flambée was tasty, and the vegetable and salad portions a good accompaniment to the stodgier classics. The tarte du jour and apple tarte flambée were disappointing as desserts, though.

Good food, great service. Actually polite waiter...wow. Food is just good though, not spectacular.
