Saphire Bar

The design of the location simply ROCKS. Awesome kick ass house music in the background and a friendly barman,who look like has made around 30000 cocktails....during this month only.
And my 'dickfluessig' cocktail came the way i like it: Thick and exotic.

Oh, and the place is air conditioned too ;)

This bar manages to mix a 70s look with modernism - white leather seating, which sounds tacky, works really well and the tables have a sleek shape.

This might be a funny thing to say, but the napkins which they placed the drinks on are great.

The bar staff are very knowledgable about the range of cocktails they serve - I tried a vodka infused with lemongrass which is produced in-house, and it made for a great vodka cocktail. My girlfriend had the best rum cocktail we've ever tried, and this was based on their recommendation!

Cucumber water was served with all drinks which really adds to the sense of service that the place provides - would highly recommend.

This place is a haven to chill after a long day walking! 2 final things I liked 1) hooks below the bar to hang your handbag or coat 2) curtain around the door, something which features throughout Berlin, to keep the cold at bay. Final point, I ordered cigarettes which they added to my bill - great service.

Bester Platz: an der Bar!

This is my favorite bar in Berlin. I've been there regularly since 2008 and the quality has always been extraordinary. The cocktail menu satisfies even the most extravagant wishes and many of those 100+ cocktails are home recipes.

Possibly the best drinks in Prenzlauer Berg.

Great neighborhood bar, cool mod design. Enormous cocktail menu, biggest I've ever seen! Reasonable prices, 8e for singles. Excellent Scotch selection- 6 different Ardbergs! - and knowledgeable barkeep..

Great bar definitely worth a visit. I personally really like the design and more so for the comfort factor than anything else. The white sofas just really are comfortable. Drinks are great as others have written and the selection is extensive. I've only experienced superior service here and have never been disappointed from start to finish. If you like good drinks and a lounge like atmosphere do come here. Remember though that they still allow smoking in the whole place so be forewarned.

By far the best bar in Berlin! Ingredients are all top quality, service is always outstanding (they'll always talk to you about what you like and don't like, then either make a great recommendation or make you a custom drink, even when the place is full on a Saturday night), and the menu is poetry. Outside is great in the summer, inside is atmospheric. Been going there for almost two years and have never been disappointed!

Well. The gin menue is awesome as are the Cocktails. The smoke inside is on some evenings almost unbearable, even for a smoker. Service is very debatable at times.

Good drinks, nice service and decent music. Recommended bar, but even upscale for this neighborhood
