Staples

I was unfortunately fined yesterday, there is no toilet in Staples, I went across to the mall and returned to find 100 pound fine !!! Manager was quite rude and loud and said that I abused their parking. I did all my shopping and was out in less than 2 hours as you know that is mandatory in other places like ASDA to return in 2 hours. I have my bill of purchase from Staples. Moreover it was a tuesday evening, not many cars, seems like this is their new line of business, I guess theres bigger immediate profit otherwise how many staples will it take for them to sell to get similar profits ??? Also in the vast parking did anyone notice a visible notice board or no parking sign?

Now the interesting part, I researched a bit and found that the JAS Parking ticket is a private company. Read a bit on private parking it will help, its not legally enforceable unless taken to court which in any case the parking company will be asked to reduce the parking amount at worst. But these guys are bullies and keep sending notices and people from their sister concern posing as collection agents who have no legal rights. Well anyway, I'm not going to encourage such people or companies, and also boycott all staples products from today !

This store is located on castle street in Luton. The store is also very near to town center so one can just pop in on the way to town center.


It is very spacious includes wide range of office stationary as well as other stuff. It has even got pcs, laptops, backpacks, and almost everything for the office.


Recently I had been to store to buy desk fan. Staff was very friendly and attentive. He showed all ranges of desk fan.
Even the prices were very reasonable.


They have got their own reward scheme. Staff handed over the form to join the reward scheme. It has got upto 5% cashback in rewards so thats really exciting.


Even many times they have got some free gifts on offer on purchase of certain items from catalogue. So that makes even a better buy.

it should be noted that this site has the worst car parking attendants.


As mentioned the site is near town, however after walking across the road to get some cash from the bank to pay for my goods I returned to find parking fine tickets on my car. After complaining to the company that runs the car park they have refused to cancel the ticket - "as I had left the site before returning to shop at Staples"!


not happy especially as our company uses staples as a sole supplier of stationary on account - will be changing that!!!
