Sureglaze Windows

Well the home advisor that came to leave me a quote made a very good impression, was organised and knew what he was talking about, at the end of the day i wanted a good price and a good long lasting product, after all i don't plan on getting my double glazing done every few months so i got quotes from a few of the big name firms.


Sureglaze gave me a competitive price and promised me quality so i let them do the front of my house kinda like a tester, i liked the samples and qualiity of product was probably the best i had seen but i had doubts and felt somthing wasn't right. They said it is cash on completion and you only make payment when the job is done up to your satisfaction so after we agreed on a price i gave the chap a £60 deposit.


After this i got calls regularly updating me on the details of the order, surevey and the date they were going to fit, customer service as far as i have seen has been perfect and very organised.


The fitters came round last week, this is about 3 weeks after i went ahead. the window fitters first covered all our furniture etc in plastic sheets, then they installed the windows and the front door. After the work was completed they cleaned up and the place was spotless.


The one thing i didn't like was cigarette ends left by one of the window fitters in our drive, i don't smoke so don't appreciate that so have let Sureglaze know and they have apologised and said it won't happen again.


Overall Sureglaze did an excellent job, i will be getting the back of the house done very soon and hopefully some solar panels in the future if and when i have the money.

We had the good fortune of using Sureglaze UK to install a patio door and a window in my garage and two more windows in the main dwelling. Prior to finalizing on Sureglaze I and my wife had decided to get at least 3 quotes. Out of the three Sureglaze were top when it came to quality of the product. Right from the salesman to the installation the process was very smooth and professional. However, the only problem was that the price was a bit higher than other companies but given the quality we now think it is justified. The bathroom and one bedroom that we did do were so cold but after replacing these windows they are now the warmest part of the house. We wish we had enough money to get the whole house done in one go. So we have decided to save enough money that will allow us to get the remainder of the 7 windows 2 or 3 at a time.

I highly recommend Sureglaze from personal experience to anyone thinking of getting their windows or doors done as it is a big decision to make and it must be the right one.

We took a chance and didn't get any other referrals. There were a few issues from ordering to installation but Sureglaze's customer service especially Adam was outstanding. Having recently moved house, our first job was to have all the windows replaced (the bathroom window wouldn't even open!). We agreed to have a quote from Safestyle after one of their reps was canvassing our area.We were impressed with the windows but the quote we were given was far too high for our liking and when I did some research on the internet, it was soon obvious that there are a lot of dissatisfied Safestyle customers!
However, whilst researching Safestyle, I found out about Sureglaze. Their windows seemed even better than Safestyle's and all their reviews were very favourable. I rang them up and arranged for someone to come and give us a quote.
The salesman arrived on time and was friendly but not pushy. He explained all the different options we could choose from and gave us a very reasonable quote without all the silly pretence of giving a very high quote and then ringing up a superior to let us have a cheaper price. We were very happy with the quote (didn't have to pay a surveyor's fee or scaffolding hire costs as Safestyle were trying to charge us), so we went ahead and placed our order.
The windows were manufactured quite quickly and in the meantime, Sureglaze made sure that we were kept informed of progress.They were also very conscientious about making sure that the number of squares in the Georgian style windows we chose were balanced for the size of window. We really appreciated this attention to detail.
We had ten windows fitted in total (including three in a bay window). The two fitters were superb. The upstairs windows were fitted on the first day and the downstairs was done on the second day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they left everywhere clean and tidy. We did not have to pay for the windows until we were absolutely satisfied with everything and any small snags were very quickly rectified.
We are delighted with the windows and also with the service we received from Sureglaze. We would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone thinking of having new windows installed.

Hiy I am a self employed computer programer and came across the Sureglaze triple glazing website as I was doing some research for a project. I wasn't even thinking about replacing the windows but the idea of triple glazing sounded great. I only got a quote to satisfy my curiosity and ended up going ahead with it. I negotiated with them and received a reduction in the price from their price list, we agreed that I would leave an honest review of what I thought of the service on completion (anywhere on the web), allowed them to place their company board outside my house during the installation and agreed to let them use pictures of my home as they please.
It was a pleasant experience and there was no pushy sell, the product was high quality and the window fitters did a great job.
I used to have droughts and condensation on the old windows but didn't realise that this was a problem until I did some research. Naturally the new windows are better than my old ones but they have also become the envy of the street. Sureglaze installed 6 solar panels on the roof of my cottage about 6 months ago and i can happily say that i haven't paid a bill in the last quarter and have still recieved payments from Npower for generating and send back the excess electric to them. I pay my bill every 3 months and recently money has been abit tight and i really wasn't looking foward to the bill as we used more than we normally would, as my son was on holiday and we have been looking after the granchildren for a few months so naturally they were using their computers and hand held games etc. I recieved my bill as £00.00. i gave Npower my solar panel meter reading and recieved prompt payment direct in my bank account for the electric generated from my panels. Making the initial investment was abit scary but now am kicking myself for not having it done earlier, all these years i've been paying bills when the technology to generate electric has been around since the 60's. I would advise anyone to look into renewable energy and get off the bill paying band wagon. Sureglaze did a really good job and everything was done within a day so i would highly recommend them but wherever you get them from, get them asap.

I chose this company based on other reviews on the internet, everyone seemed to be giving 5 star ratings and the company apparently relies on word of mouth for new business. It is now over a year since I first had someone round for a quotation, and being happy with the price I decided to go ahead in August of last year. The staff at this point were helpful so the first potential sign of problems was overlooked when I received a call the week before my windows were due for fitting to say that they were double booked and wanted to come the following weekend. This wasn't a problem so the workmen duly arrived to carry out the work which took them into the evening. Everything looked superficially fine but the following day as I began cleaning the windows I found that 8 of the eleven windows fitted had scratches of marks, in some cases, inside the glass. There were several other problems too with some of the pvc fittings. I got onto the company who sent the workmen back around during the week to assess the problem. They went away with a new order for replacement glass, blaming the problem on the manufacturer. From here the problems began to rack up. I have been as patient as possible with this company but at the second attempt, the workers brought replacement glass but not the other parts required. I arranged an evening for them to come around but it was too dark for them to finish the work so yet another date was required. It was hit and miss as to whether they would turn up and on several occasions, on ringing the office, I was told that nobody was coming as it hadn't been booked in properly. The second set of windows needed two of the panes replacing due to scratches like the first and finally, the external patio handle corroded up within a month. I had to be in for workers on 10 separate occasions, although the workers did not turn up on every one of these, the work was finally finished in February this year when I was promised compensation for the inconvenience. Several phone calls more, and various assurances about it being looked into, and that something is in the post, I am no nearer to any satisfaction with this company and would be amazed if nobody else has been a victim of what could at best be described as incompetence.

I had triple glazing installed last week by Sureglaze, I read excellent reviews about them on the internet and decided to go ahead with them. Everything was spot on, the triple glazed windows and doors are of extremely high quality, the installers were great and finished off the job without making any mess. I was really surprised to see the previous reviewer was not happy as I have had problems with window companies in the past and they simply don't want to come back out to sort them out so it kind of puts my mind at ease that even though the previous reviewer had issues with the work, they were resolved to a point where the company made ten visits to get it right, I call that good service but it couldn't have been a nice experience as it is time consuming but it is good to know that if there are any issues they will be resolved. My installation I am glad to say went well and I am pleased with the end product. I can't hear the cars on the road anymore so the house is more peaceful. Also out of all the quotes I had SureGlaze had the best sample window, they weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. High End Company with great product and service.
