The Reservoir

I took my girlfriend and her two sons here for a meal today. The food arrived promptly and was hot and correct.

After eating most of his meal my girlfriend noticed a black thing on her eldest son's plate. She removed it and examined it to discover it was a deep fried fly! Revolting.

She mentioned it to the staff discreetly (her eldest has autism and would have gone hysterical had he realised, so we couldn't make a big deal out of it). The staff member's response? "Oh, that's the deep fat fryer." No apology. No offer to rectify the problem.

I'll never step foot in the place again and would encourage anyone reading this review to avoid doing so as well.

We have had mixed experiences here. The food is generally good and the tables clean and topped up with sauces etc. One time our order got lost and after no food arriving after 45 mins we complained, we had to wait another half hour for it to arrive but got a free drink and dessert.
