      Do NOT waste your money....
I'm sure the workers are trying their hardest, but the concept is trash. They give you two slices of sushi and charge you 5£ for each dish. When you eat sushi, you want high quality fish with an amount that will fill you up... Since you pull from a conveyor belt they add up quickly. We spent around 100$, on something that wasn't even worth 100$. There are by far better places to choose from for better sushi. Don't be blinded by the "train" style sushi. The selection is awful as well... same thing comes around over and over again... and again. Boring and bland.

so I needed a quick pick me up after a ...not so great weekend...so I tapped in sushi into the yelp search engine and it brought me here...

I would say every Yo Sushi I have been to are all the same...which is a good thing...staff are very attentive...this helps having a button at your table which signals for them to come over...and the menu is plentiful..

I personally love the sashimi ..so I ordered lots of this at once..and grabbed a grey (£5) plate full of different types of salmon ..it is better value of money to get the grey plates because if you order maki, nigri and sashimi it would cost you more than £5...

This was washed down with hot sake ( which tastes better heated )..the sake menu is not extensive..offering only two types...but hey what do you expect from a chain...

I personally felt quite comfortable having my solo sushi feast,,because I admit when I go for sushi I am not sociable...to talk would give me less time to stuff my face with maki...

Overall a very tidy, good atmosphere place to be....you just have to be careful counting the plates as you go along...as Yo sushi is not the most cheapest of places in comparison to such places as Wasabi....and it can be easy to get carried away..

      some sashiminess....nom

It seems a sin to say it but by far my favourite thing from Yo! Sushi is the chicken yakisoba, which is neither cold nor is it fish. I do enjoy the sushi available here too (the spicy tuna iso and the eel nigiri are very good) they just don't really match up to the quality of some of the hot dishes, for me anyway.

Food aside this branch is positioned ideally for a break from a day of trawling around the shops of Liverpool One, providing a quick, but not rushed, dining experience somewhere between the on-the-fly, foil-wrapped fajita-y goodness of Barburitto just across the courtyard and the delicious but pricier food you might get at Yee Rah next door.

I would avoid the bottomless miso soup - it really isn't great. I
couldn't manage to stomach another bowl even though refills were free, and it really is unusual for me to pass up free food.

I wouldn't say I'm a sushi addict but from time to time, I do enjoy having a different lunch from the usual stuff I eat. So, I decided to try Yo Sushi today. Having arrived at 11am, much to my morning hunger, I learnt that I needed to wait a further hour before they opened. Nevertheless, it was nice to watch the staff through the window preparing the food.

Before today, I was a Yo Sushi virgin but now I'm pleased to say that I no longer am. Even though I spent about £10 on three dishes before I knew it, it was a new experience. My favourite out of the three dishes I chose had to be the Chicken Yakisoba noodles (a bit like chow mein). The sushi was good (nothing really different to what I could buy at the supermarket) and the deep fried octopus balls were a bit of a joke as it mainly consisted of a mash potato consistency and hardly any octopus. The plus side, is that you can top up on some of their drinks but one cup of Japanese green tea was enough for me!

Yo Sushi has excellent standards and customer service was helpful and welcoming. The decor, background music and seating layout are impressive, enhancing the trendy Japanese theme. On the other hand, I would not go mad on the food and their prices.

10/10 would visit again! If you are looking for cheap sushi or for quick food, this isn't necessarily the place. They have a wide range of sushi available at all time. While we were there when apparently they were "short staffed", it didn't seem like it at all. The staff is friendly and food is delicious.

Very friendly and helpful servers, but pretty awful food. We were served a burnt vegetable gyoza, a spicy tuna roll that looked absolutely nothing like the menu and tasted very bland, a fried fish cake that was quite disappointing and dry, and a spider roll that I couldn't stomach swallowing. The beef teriyaki and salmon sashimi were good but not great. Also extremely pricey. This was just really bad to be honest.

I have never been the type of person to turn up my nose at food of any kind but one type of cuisine I had not tried until recently is sushi but having been to Yo Sushi I was glad I made the leap into this new culinary world. Sitting around a conveyor belt of food was an odd experience for me but the novelty really added to my enjoyment of the whole dining experience. Living in Liverpool independently has forced me to branch out an awful lot and eating here was a small but important step in terms of my culinary development.

This place felt relaxed and very comfortable indeed and I really enjoyed all that was on offer. The most impressive thing for me about Yo Sushi was the sheer variety on offer with over 90 dishes available meaning that my eyes were lit up watching the culinary delights glide past on the conveyor belt.

On the whole a novel place which really impressed me and made me a fan of the world of sushi.

I do like this particular branch of Yo Sushi even though they always take so long to bring my order to me. I always order the pumpkin korroke, vegetable gyoza and vegetable firecracker rice as soon as I sit down. As I know it is unlikely these items to be on the conveyor. The last time I went my boyfriend had finished his 8-10 plates and my plates still had not arrived. I waited for 30 mins in the end. I even queried the order and was told "it won't be long" - no just another 15 mins....
The gyoza and korroke are usually burnt to a crisp as well.

The reason I have given this location a decent rating is because at the end of the day the food my boyfriend and my friend's order are ok. It's just my items they can't seem to cook properly.
Also the miso soup isn't that nice from this location, a bit too salty. Plus by the time you get the free refill you've finished your meal.

I love Yo Sushi and was so happy when a new one opened in Liverpool (I had been travelling to Manchester for a monthly fix).
Everything is just as fantastic as in all the other branches. Will be spending lots of my hard earned cash here.
REMEMBER: Sushi is not raw fish. Sushi is a particular type of flavoured rice which forms the basis of all the different rolls etc.
      Sashimi is raw fish.
