Zack Dinh Photography

My husband and I strongly recommend Zack Dinh as a photographer. We found his advertisement on Craigslist, met with him to discuss his style and look over contracts. He was always prepared and upfront, there were no surprise cost or conditions.

Zack shot our wedding day (11-7-10) and we couldn't have asked for a nicer person to work with. We both admire Zack for his professional and talented approach to photography and we were more than pleased with the quality of our photos.

The shots he took documented our day and told the story as I remembered it, I treasure the pictures. He was willing to take direction, suggestion and was very concerned that he got everything that we were hoping for. He was unobtrusive, easy-going and friendly with all of our guests. Not corny or awkward to have around. I know that he was genuinely happy for us that day and concerned to do his best job and make us happy. He worked hard for us that day.

Zack edited our photos very quickly, allowed us to see them all and had them in a beautiful volume for us (we think) within a month of our wedding, it was FAST. He showed us the draft of the album first and allowed us to make revisions to the layout / contents without any hassle.

Zack was by far the most professional vendor I worked with on my wedding. While other aspects of my day were riddled with mistakes, Zack was on time and accommodated every request and last-minute scheduling changes with ease. One of the best things about Zack was that he could blend into the background while shooting. We appreciated his ability to capture every important moment without inserting himself into it, allowing us to enjoy our day without having that constant reminder that we were being photographed.

When we received the photos, we were blown away at how well they turned out. Zack captured every photo that we requested, in addition to setting up a few shots that turned out to be our favorite of the bunch.

From the first meeting to the day we got the photos in the mail, Zack continued to exceed all expectations I had for a wedding photographer. He was flexible with his photo packages, allowing us to select one that worked for us rather than paying for extras that we didn't want/need. He stayed in continuous communication with us, and even called me a few days before the wedding to confirm and assure me that he would be there with the shot list at our agreed-upon time.

All in all, it was a pleasure working with Zack and would recommend him to any of my friends getting married.

This is the reason why we chose Zack to be our wedding photographer. About a year ago we immediately contacted Zack subsequent to seeing his zackdinh.com website because my wife (then fiancée) and I knew Zack was the right person for us. Being a Sonoma County native and my wife a San Francisco native, we wanted our wedding photos to be both traditional yet artistic. Zack can do both. His images create a holistic feel as well as a timeless. On our wedding day, Zack's careful attention to certain depths of field as well as his creative process did not interfere with our wedding activities. We wanted him to capture the natural way of feeling happy, joy and contentment. Zack does this.



As a person, Zack is a very soulful funny and sensitive man. His calm demeanor will bring out the best in you as he did us. And that's what he's trying to create. He has the knack to capture that right moment when you least expect it. We felt very comfortable posing for him because his direction was more of a musical piece. Telling us to lower our tones by standing next to a tree or give the big smiles when we hug.

Ansel Adams once said "When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence." This is Zack Dinh.
